Privacy Policy
Clue Clash is a word game that does not require an email address or phone number. The data controller and App Store publisher is APIKO TEKNOLOJI YAZILIM VE DANISMANLIK LIMITED SIRKETI.
Data we process
- A one-way hash of a randomly generated device key, an anonymous player ID, and an automatically generated nickname.
- Duel matches, scores, question progress, and in-game actions.
- Usage events not linked to identity: a random session ID renewed on every app launch, app version, language, game or stage mode, duration, score, and result.
- Stage progress, XP, records, haptic preference, and anonymous analytics preference that remain only on your device.
The app does not use advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking. It does not collect location, contacts, photos, microphone data, email addresses, or phone numbers. If you email us for support, your email address and the information you share are processed to respond to your request.
Why we process it
To create an anonymous session, match players, enforce server-side timing and scoring, and protect the service from cheating and misuse. Optional usage analytics measures game flows in aggregate with your consent. It is off by default and starts only after you explicitly consent on the first launch screen or under Settings → Anonymous Usage Analytics. You can play without giving this permission.
Retention and deletion
Account-linked information is retained while the anonymous account exists. Deleting the online account in the app removes the user record, device-key hash, and matchmaking ticket. Historical duel records are detached from the user and the nickname is anonymized. On-device solo progress can be reset in Settings or removed by deleting the app. Usage events that are not linked to identity are retained for no more than 90 days and older records are automatically deleted. Withdraw consent at any time under Settings → Anonymous Usage Analytics. This stops new sends, discards events waiting on the device and cancels any request in progress. Events from before consent are never sent later. Events already received by the server remain subject to the retention period.
Sharing and international processing
Data is not sold. Infrastructure providers such as Google Cloud may process it solely to operate and secure the service, potentially in a country other than yours.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or raise an objection where applicable. Delete your online account directly under Settings → Delete Online Account. For another privacy request, use the support page and do not share sensitive information such as passwords or device keys.
